die Covid-Pandemie erschwert die konkrete Planung auch noch im Jahr 2021. Dennoch hat der APS-Vorstand beschlossen, in diesem Jahr eine APS-Jahrestagung durchzuführen. Insbesondere nach der kurzfristigen Absage der Tagung 2020 möchte der Vorstand damit allen APS-Mitgliedern, interessierten Kolleg*Innen und der Industrie eine Möglichkeit für einen direkten wissenschaftlichen und klinischen Austausch bieten.

The date in March, which has proven itself for many years, is associated with too much uncertainty this year. Therefore, the annual meeting 2021 will now take place from 21.-24.9.2021 Tuesday (!) to Friday - this time not in Fulda, but in the Kassel Conference Centre. Already now a detailed concept has been elaborated to meet the Corona protection regulations, so that the meeting is planned as a precedence event.

The APS Board also decided to make the theme of the failed 2020 meeting, "Inborn errors of (synaptic) neurotransmission," the main topic of the APS Annual Meeting again this year.
